THIRD GRADERS WILL LEARN BULLYING SUCKS
Thursday, April 21 and Friday April 22
Instructors from Mercer Island Martial Arts will be visiting third grade
PE classes to discuss bullying and hurtful behaviors, the impact of
those behaviors and ways that kids can respond to and help prevent
them.
Instructors will return one week later, on April 28 and 29, to follow up on the initial discussion and
engage the students in interactive role play designed to illustrate and practice the concepts
learned. Parents are welcome to come and observe.
Mercer Island Martial Arts is offering this anti-bullying workshop as a community service in
